Our housekeeper, Vjollca.

Our housekeeper Vjollca Sava and her husband Piro are from Albania where Piro was a High School Physics teacher and Vjollca was an accountant. They both hold Bachelor's Degrees from Albanian University. They were able to send their son to the University of San Diego in 1997. After he graduated, he encouraged them to come to America. They secured the necessary visas to move here in 2007 and still have one daughter in Albania for whom they are trying to obtain a visa.

Vjollca has worked as our only housekeeper for nearly three years. She is here between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day and will make up your room when you are out for the day.

Both Piro and Vjollca are taking English-as-a-Second-Language night classes at Mira Costa College and are doing much better learning English that we would at learning Albanian.
